Julie, mum of Constance
Just wanted to let you know that Constance will be finishing swimming lessons at the end of this term. She is starting secondary school in September and will not leave school in time for the start of the lesson. I want to say that Debbie and Heidi have done a great job over the years (Debbie taught her to swim as a terrified 5 year old) and I love the emphasis they have placed on learning the strokes.

Helen, mum of Jacob
We have really enjoyed our time with Baby Swimmers and gained some valuable skills. I would definitely recommend to family and friends in the future.

Dianne, mum of Daniel
Just wanted to thank you for the lessons having now completed our first session. Daniel just seems to be getting stronger each week, but more importantly is thoroughly enjoying it. Thank you for giving him the space and time initially. Looking forward to the next block already.
Dianne 2015-03-22 07:12:44
Lara, mum of Daniel
I have to say I do really like the instructor where we are now and if it wasn't for your new venue coming up then I wouldn't look to change, despite the bit of a drive it is over to Temple Moor. Suzanne has made me feel really comfortable handling Daniel in the water, the class is nice and relaxed and I've not felt stressed once with any of it, either with parking or changing him or when we had to leave the class early to feed. Aside from the parking I would say a lot of the rest is due to the instructor and how the class runs. Anyway just thought I would mention as I am sure it's nice to get positive feedback.

Vibha, mum of Maya and Morgan
Please find attached forms for certificates and sew-on badges for Maya and Morgan. Thank you again for everything - they love their lessons and look forward to them every week and they love their teacher too!

Louise, mum of Lyla
Had our first lesson today at the hilton hotel and lyla absolutely loved it! I was a bit nervous but the teachers made it so relaxed and very enjoyable. We cant wait for next week to see lyla's confidence in the water grow.

Matthew, dad of Adam
I’ve been meaning to write for a few weeks to say how much Adam enjoys his lessons with Alison on a Monday morning at the Forum. She’s been brilliant at encouraging him – and is especially good at showing me how to help Adam get the most out of his time in the water. He’s really lucky to have her as a teacher!
Matthew 2014-04-06 17:38:27
Pia, mum of Arran and Skye from our Fairfield classes
I would just like to say how impressed we are with the swimming sessions. The kids love them!

Samantha Gill, Fund raising for Tommy's!
When I applied for the London Marathon, it wasn't the running but the fundraising that scared me! Tommys exists to fund research into the causes and prevention of premature birth, stillbirth and miscarriage, affecting 1 in 4 women and one of them being my best friend. I will take part in the marathon 2014 in her daughters memory. When I approached Tracie Margo, the director of 'Babyswimmers' and she agreed to hold a sponsored session for a group of my friends and their babies, I was overwhelmed. Not only did we raise an astounding £1159 but our babies ranging from 13 weeks to 3 years old, enjoyed movement to song, splashing around, jumping in from the poolside and sitting three abreast on a float, being wobbly jellies - no armbands!!! Tracie also generously donated 5 complimentary 'Babyswim' lessons to the duo who raised the most sponsorship. I can't thank her enough. The morning was a huge success and great fun!

Dawn, mum of Juliet from our Beckwith Health Club classes
How time has flown! Thanks to you and the fabulous teachers over the years, Juliet has really progressed and in very confident in the pool - it has really been one of the best things I have done with her. If you ever need recommendations please don't hesitate to contact me!

Emma, mum of Charlie from our Beckwith Health Club classes
I also wanted to say how impressed we have been with our swimming teacher Richard. He is absolutely fantastic with the children in our class. Both my husband and I wanted to pass this on to you and would be grateful if this feedback could be passed on to Richard.
Emma 2013-07-07 16:43:52
Jan, mum of Sam from our Roko classes
Sam and I would like to thank Michelle for all her energy and patience, Sam has really found his confidence in the water and Michelle's gentle teaching style really suited us both! I am so proud that he is now swimming alone and really looking forward to seeing him progress. Thanks for a great experience.

Claire. mum of James from our Pocklington class.
From his very first bath, it was clear our son James had a natural love of water. Sitting in his baby bath, he would become animated and demonstrated a natural reflex for kicking and splashing about. But taking James to our local public swimming pool didn’t go to plan - he became clingy, easily distracted by other swimmers and disliked armbands with a passion. We were apprehensive at starting swimming lessons with James, but within just a few weeks we could see a big difference. Baby Swimmers encourages natural water movements in children, so we didn’t have the battle with buoyancy aids, and James has become content and confident in the water. Now he jumps into the water by himself, resurfaces and then holds on to the side before swimming towards his Daddy. Lessons are stimulating, while relaxed, so if James doesn’t feel like floating on his back or refuses to go under water, there’s no pressure. Instead, swimming sessions feel like they are more about making our child feel comfortable in the water than achieving a grade. James is a quiet, often reserved toddler, who prefers solitary activities, yet in the water he’s so happy and, more importantly, having fun.

Sarah, mum of Robert from our Penny Fields class.
It was with some trepidation that I approached my son’s first swimming lesson – he was only three months old after all, and we were still getting to grips with the basics of our day to day routine, let alone immersion in a pool. I remember staring down at him on the change mat in his slightly over-sized neoprene trunks, after grappling with getting these and a swim nappy on him, and wondering how we were going to ever going to do this quickly each week, let alone then teach him how to swim. Now, five months on and halfway through our second term with Babyswimmers, we’re pros! It has been a great introduction to the water for my son, and also brilliant for us parents, making sure that we are safe and reassuring us if nervous or over-cautious. Seeing my baby going from being slightly anxious about going into the water (he hated his baths before starting the classes) to laughing and splashingabout, grabbing and clutching swim toys, happily going underwater and holding onto the side of the pool has been an amazing experience. Our teacher has been patient and gentle with the little ones, always alternating new experiences, such as submersions, with fun songs and actions (an off-key rendition of ‘The Grand Old Duke of York’ whilst dipping him in and out of the water always seems to set off my son’s giggles). Swimming is an important life skill and I am very happy that my son is being safely introduced to water in a fun way.
Sarah 2013-06-16 18:59:18
Niki, mum of Rupert from our Delius School class.
There's a few swimming providers in Leeds but I chose baby swimmers because they were a good price, looked professional and Tracie was good at replying to my messages (neurotic mothers catered for!) I wondered if swimming classes for my 7 month old boy was a bit extravagant but now we are on our second course I'm glad we took the plunge!! I'm amazed at how quickly he's picked up the skills; he can hold on to the edge on the pool, and Kick his legs to get to the toys. And all the babies are now pros at underwater swimming! The teachers are great and really understanding of each babies needs. My boy suddenly started to cry when I blow bubbles in the water but Clare was very quick to find another task he was happy with, this usually ends up chomping on a rubber duck! Our favourite exercise is siting him on the edge of the pool and waiting for him to jump to me. His big smile, his splash into the water, and into my arms for a big cuddle. Priceless! I really don't think you'll be disappointed if you chose Baby Swimmers!

Gemma, mum of Jensen from your Penny Fields class
I first started taking my son to swimming classes at 6 weeks old. The first class was terrifying for me as a first time mum but after getting in the pool for the first time with our instructor Richard we realised it wasn't as scary as first thought. Our son was so small but even from the very first class he seemed to enjoy the lessons. Richard, our instructor, took things at a steady pace. Talking through everything we was doing and immediately putting me at ease about being in the water. My son is now six months old and enjoys the lessons so much I couldn't imagine him not doing them anymore. From the second we get there his face lights up, once in the changing rooms he always starts smilling and the smile never leaves his face the whole lesson. Once in the water he starts moving his arms and splashing everyone and everything in his path. He has no fear of going under the water. I have had the opportunity to see him underwater and find it strange to say he still has a smile on his face! Taking a child swimming so young may seem incredibly daunting but i can guarantee the lessons are very much worth it.

Rachel, mum of Adam from our Penny Fields class.
Having only learnt to swim myself as an adult I can still remember having a fear of water so I felt the sooner my son began lessons the better. I enquired with various companies and found Baby Swimmers to have the most suitable times and were amongst the most reasonably priced. We began lessons when Adam was just 3months old. I was worried at first that he might cry throughout the lesson, particularly when going underwater, but I needn’t have worried - he loved it! He is constantly smiling as we sing songs and sway through the water and despite the sometimes shocked expression on his face, he has actually never cried after being put underwater. We are now on our 3rd term with Baby Swimmers and are still enjoying it. I have returned to work and swimming is the only class we have continued with. Adam has progressed brilliantly and I find myself beaming with pride after every lesson. He can now hold onto the side by himself and is even attempting to climb out which is pretty amazing to say he is only 11 months old and can’t even walk yet! Massive thanks to Baby Swimmers and our teacher Pam.

Danni, mum of Savannah from our Hilton class.
I must say Sunday was out first class and it was great. I was initially very nervous as to how Savanna would be, but she loved it!! Everyone is really lovely and the instructor was really nice and made you feel at ease and very safe. Im so glad we joined.

Donna, mum of Sophie from our Temple Moor class
I'm hoping that I won't be working Thursdays when I return to work so that I can continue with Sophies swimming. I can hand on heart say that she absolutely loves her lessons with you guys and it's lovely to see her so excited. The way in which the lessons are structured is absolutely fantastic and Sophies water confidence and ability in the water has come on leaps and bounds since coming to babyswimmers.
Donna 2012-03-05 16:06:02
Samantha, mum of Madison, Batley
We'd just like you say a massive thank you to Pam, she is an asset to baby Swimmers and does a wonderful job, Madison and I have thoroughly enjoyed every lesson.
Samantha 2011-12-11 15:18:04
Donna, mum of Henry
Just to let you know we think Babyswimmers far out shines the other swimming classes available for flexibility, times, content and enjoyment! Some of my friends have been using other well known schools for longer than Henry and they aren't having as much fun or doing as much in the way of development! Thank you for making what at first seems so daunting, so enjoyable!
Donna 2011-06-10 15:42:30
Pankaj, mum to Leela
We have been really happy with Babyswimmers though and want to thank you and the team for giving our daughter a great start through swimming. Thanks particularly to Becca who we will miss.
Pankaj 2011-07-22 12:04:30
Kristy, mum of Darcy
today was unfortunately our last lesson (sad as well as we missed the previous two lessons as Darcy had a cold) as it's half term next week then I go back to work the week after. I just wanted to say how great I think Gavin is, he is always enthusiastic and happy, he has a great manner with the babies and remembers each one individually and their progress. Darcy has come on really well with her swimming and has enjoyed every lesson as have I. Gavin is a credit to your company and I would be grateful if you could pass on my sentiments.
Kristy 2011-10-21 15:14:10

Liz, mum of Henry
Out of all the activities Henry and I took up whilst I was on maternity leave swimming classes was by far and away the one we both got the most out of and the only one we have kept up now I have returned to work. Seeing his enjoyment and confidence in and around water develop is an absolute joy!! I feel great pride that I have helped him develop such an enjoyable and vital skill for the future
Liz 2011-11-28 21:12:00
Sam, mum of Max
I love taking my little boy to Babyswimmers. Max started his lessons when he was just three months old and he's now almost two and is so confident in the water. From day one I could see the benefits - he soon learnt the valuable skill of holding onto the side - and now he's swimming to me under water, jumping in and still learning each week. When the hard times hit I considered whether we could afford his classes, but I think I can't afford not to. You can't put a price on your child's safety in the water. I have every confidence that we made the right decision to keep going, because he tells me - each time his face lights up when I say: 'We're going swimming today!'.
Sam 2011-11-28 19:30:02
Rachel, mum of Emily
My daughter and I have gained great value from coming to the swimming classes. The venue is perfect, the teachers are professional yet friendly, I believe I have given my daughter a great gift to be able to stay safe and confident in the water! I would and have recommended to many who have children of similar age to Emily. It is remarkable how the teaching techniques have helped her develop so fast.
Rachel 2011-11-28 17:14:18
Cathryn, mum of Sam and Amy
Both children adore Baby Swimmers, and it's been amazing to watch their growing confidence and skills at swimming. We have found that two sessions in tandem has been so convenient too - my husband stays in the pool and takes the older child then the younger one. I get the kids showered and dressed, and it works out beautifully.
Cathryn 2011-11-28 17:23:18
Pam, mum of Thomas
I've been taking my little boy to baby swimmers since he was 11 week old, he his now 19 months old and we both love the experience. The skills we have both learnt mean we are both confident and safe in the water. It provides a perfect, fun way of bonding with baby that we will always treasure. I highly recommend these classes to every parent.
Pam 2011-11-28 14:20:31
Sara, mum of Maisie
When I announced to my friends that I was enrolling Maisie (8 months) at Baby Swimmers many of them were incredulous, especially when I said that there were no armbands!! At first she just enjoyed being in the water, singing and splashing, but now at 18 months old she is starting to 'swim to mummy' and 'monkey monkey' along the side of the pool. It hasn't all been plain sailing, for a few weeks she seemed not to enjoy it, but with the support of the instructor and the others in the group we got through it. The instruction is subtle and no one feels under pressure, the emphasis is on fun, with toys and floats used to encourage the babies. I would thoroughly recommend it to all.
Sara 2011-11-28 15:12:40
Joanne, mum of Imogen
Imogen loves her swimmng lessons - she smiles all the time and loves the singing and playing with toys. I love the fact she is happy and confident in the water plus the exercise strengthens her muscles and tires her out - she sleeps very well after her swimming class. The instructor Donna makes the class fun for babies and they all love her.
Joanne 2011-11-28 16:05:12
Emma, mum of Georgia
Swimming class for babies, isnâ??t just for fun Turning round, holding on, weâ??ve now got Starfish One. Twelve weeks old, along we rolled, to rid of splash time tears Six months in, more underwater swim, she has no water fears. Jumping in, and singing songs, makes our daughterâ??s day Wibble wobble on the float, a place to learn and play. If out one day and in she fell, we know sheâ??d kick and smile Our time well spent, the lessons learnt, the money well worthwhile.
Emma 2011-11-28 12:20:45
Katie, mum of Archie
Baby swimmers is an excellent class that is fun but also helps babies learn the basics. In just one term my little one Archie can actually swim we have been so pleased he has developed so quickly. Our swim class is the highlight of the week and we have a great time with all the mums and babies.
Katie 2011-11-29 16:18:20
Sophie, mum of Daliya
Baby Swimmers is both fun and rewarding! My daughter has gained so much confidence from the classes. Itâ??s amazing to see how much they can achieve from such a little age plus itâ??s a great way to make new friends.
Sophie 2011-11-29 16:10:45
Lorraine, mum of Harriet
My daughter Harriet who is 3 years old had a fear of water on her face and being in water even if she was being held by me or my husband in a swimming pool. Since joining Baby Swimmers in September 2011, my daughter is not only more confident in the water, she also doesnâ??t cry if she goes under the water, she can follow basic swim stroke instruction and even plays happily in the shallow end after the lesson. Credit to Donna the instructor who makes the sessions fun and exciting.
Lorraine 2011-11-29 20:08:12
Anna, mum to Adam and Samuel and Gavriella
I genuinely think that BabySwimmers is the best tots' class going. I have been bringing my twin boys - now 3 - since they were about 10 weeks old, and their skills in the water are astonishing. I am so proud that they are able to safely jump into the water (they're currently learning to dive!), swim (with a little technique - impressive for a 3 year old!) and float on their backs. All independently. It gives me much greater confidence in the water with them, as well as a huge sense of pride in seeing them learning life skills and enjoying it so much. The time in the water (now joined by their 1 year old sister ) is a great time for bonding and sharing special moments together, as well as huge fun!
Anna 2011-11-30 15:12:16
Katie, mum of Oliver
This is our first term of Baby Swimmers, I have an 8 month old son who has Down's Syndrome. I was a bit nervous about taking Oliver swimming as he had never been before and I was not sure exactly what the swimming sessions fully involved. However, we both really love going to Baby Swimmers! Oliver is a star and really enjoys the singing and surprisingly he copes really well swimming under water!
Katie 2011-11-30 09:15:45
Vicky, mum of Finlay
My sone has been going to baby swmimers since he was three months old and he is now three years old. I love the skills he has developed over that time and it is amazing to see him so confident in the water! I feel assured that he has learnt skills that will keep him safe in and around water but that he also has so much fun whilst doing it!
Vicky 2011-11-30 12:52:20
Emma, mum of Alena
Iâ??ve been taking our daughter to swimming lessons with Baby Swimmers since she was 5 weeks old (sheâ??s now 18 months). I felt swimming was such an important life skill that I wanted her to start at such a young age. Baby Swimmers has enabled her to gain confidence in the water & she obviously loves attending her lessons each week. When we take her swimming elsewhere people are amazed at how confident our daughter is in the water & watch as she jumps into the pool, swims to the side, swims underwater & piggyback rides as either mummy or daddy swim around the pool. Baby Swimmers offer lessons which are professional, friendly, fun and as a result of the classes my daughter & I have made lots of new friends. Thank you Baby Swimmers!
Emma 2011-11-30 16:12:08
Zoe, mum of Riley
Weâ??ve been attending Baby Swimmer classes with our son Riley since he was 4 months old (heâ??s now 18 months old) and what a fantastic class this has been for us to get involved in. The class has not only taught Riley important swimming and water safety skills but has also added to his confidence overall. He loves water generally and Iâ??m certain this is due to attending the class. Shower and bath time are just as much fun as the class, with Riley practising of his own accord his â??kick kicksâ?? and â??tiger armsâ??! The class has also been a great way for Rileyâ??s Dad to be involved in something with Riley from a young age. The class we attend has mummies, daddies and grandpas in it which is a welcome change to a lot of the traditional mummy & baby classes that are run for most activities. The way in which the classes are taught are a gentle learning experience, offering variety along the way with lots of fun, laughter and song. We canâ??t recommend this class enough and plan to continue attending for many years to come!
Zoe 2011-11-30 20:08:16
Katie, mum of Ryan
Ryan has been swimming with Baby swimmers since he was 6 months old! Ryan, who is now 2, loves his swimming lessons and has a big smile on his face when I tell him that we are having a swimming lesson. His water confidence and swimming skills are constantly improving and we are amazed at his progress! We receive awards and badges at the end of each term which we proudly display on his bedroom wall! We are really happy with our swimming lessons and are very glad we started lessons when he was a baby. Pam has made a real effort to make the lessons fun! Ryan really loves his swimming, he has started treading water & spends much of the lesson underwater at the mo!

Clare, mum of Matthew
I previously took my 9 year old daughter to swimming lesson when she was a baby. I feel that learning to swim from an early age is a vital life skill so when i had my 8 month old son it was one of the first classes I enrolled him on. He loves the lessons. His confidence in the water has increased and he gets to spend some quality time with me while something we both enjoy. I have recommended baby swimmers to others.
Clare 2011-12-03 15:12:42
Esther, Mum of Lily Rose Best
My little 3 year old has progressed from a reluctant, nervous swimmer to an enthusiastic, eager and daring young swimmer. As the weeks have advanced, she likes to do diving in which she was scared of doing but has grown in confidence and now wants to do it again Mummy as she says. She loves the singing, fun methods of teaching and is doing well.
Esther 2011-12-16 16:52:00
Mum of Freddie at Strensall
Can I say thanks for your lessons, we are so happy with them and the progress that Freddie has made. To be honest, it has made us a little cross with the previous classes we went to because we can actually see what you're trying to achieve, rather than just splashing around to music! Thanks again.
